the wise owl sees no color

Today I want to talk about Black people.

Yes.

Because, we as a collective (both as a society and those who identify as being Black) have got to let race go. I’m so tired of it.

I know as a population, Black people have been through some shit - however - I have a hard time believing some of the history we’re told, at least in the way “they” portray it. Like, sure, there are definitely people (not everyone) in every race that are racist; that choose to treat someone differently because of the color of their skin. Just like there are people who choose to do something because of something they like… everyone has preferences. Sure, fine, okay.

But, as a collective, to identify with your skin color so much to the point where you live your entire life based off of your race (like if something bad happens, oh it’s because of the color of your skin; if you’re not making enough money, oh it’s because of the color of your skin) it needs to be let go. We need to let this go. It’s gotten to a point where we’re breeding racist people because it’s all we talk about.

Family - I’m talking to you specifically right now - not everything is about race and the color of our skin. Not everything has to be about Black this and Black that and White people this and White people that… like fuck!

Geez dude, if you go deeper than skin, we are all the same. The only differences we have is based off of when and where you were born. Physical location. It changes the way you act, how you speak, how you think… there are a lot of differences in terms of who you are based off of when and where you were born; I’m specifically talking about your Astrology and how the stars were aligned the moment you were born, and where.

Other than that, it does not matter what you look like. It does not matter if your skin is so dark it looks purple, it does not matter if your skin is chocolate, it does not matter if your skin is transluscent, it does not matter if your skin is golden, it doesn’t matter. It literally doesn’t matter.

So, to spend your whole life focusing on that specific thing, and the history we’re taught (like oh, Black people suffered heavily from the hands of White people so now we as a collective today have to not only coddle Black people and make them feel like they’re owed something, but we also have to put down White people because apparently it’s their fault for people in the past doing dumbass, evil shit) we fail to remember that anyone no matter what race you are can do dumbass, evil shit; anyone no matter what race you are can be a good person and spread love.

Out of all this shit, Martin Luther King Jr. was onto something; it does not matter the color of our skin, it matters who you are as a person and how you treat people, yourself, and how you go about living life. If you’re going out living life blaming everyone for your troubles, acting like you’re owed something when you weren’t even alive when slavery was happening… also not to mention many other countries used slavery and we are the one country that abolished it, put it in law to say that’s not something we do here; and now here we are 160 years later pointing fingers and saying Black people are owed all this shit?

No!

I have just as much opportunity to live an amazing, beautiful, abundant life as the person next to me and friends and strangers and even you; we all have the same opportunities to make something of ourselves.

I’m just so tired of constantly hearing race shit. Constantly living among people who are so race-conscious it’s insane. Like, what the fuck?

This is more of a rant than a healing sesh… actually this is more spiritual; like we are all spiritual beings, beautiful energy here to create and experience this magical life for several decades before going to the next realm and experiencing whatever that is for each of us, I don’t know for sure, but here we all have the power to create a beautiful reality for ourselves. To tarnish it and focus on something as miniscule and meaningless as race is crazy because we are all one. We are all creative beings made of the same configuration (humans, point blank period).

I’m just tired of it, because for me being Black… I never gave a shit about being Black. That’s what made me the black sheep (pun intended) in my family. I don’t identify with my race like they do (no offense to you if you’re listening to this family, it’s just not something I care about).

And then, growing up in majority White neighborhoods and schools, I was clearly the odd one out but I was never discriminated against because I was Black. My boyfriend and I talk about this quite often, you know as kids we were taught all this shit about slavery and the history and MLK and Malcolm X and segregation and all that jazz, but growing up we didn’t experience anything of the sort, everyone got along with everyone. Race didn’t matter, we’re over it. And then, Obama popped up and made race politics a huge thing and it was all about the first Black president… so then yeah absolutely we’re over racist shit that apparently consumed the entire country; if we were such a racist country how could we have a Black president? We couldn’t, so therefore… we’re good!

And then the George Floyd thing happened and we all got sucked into that (even me). They really pushed that hard, everyone was talking about it for a long time; it was pandemic and then boom, George Floyd took over. But, if you actually look into the facts, it’s pretty fishy.

If you don’t know by now, Media likes to propagate negativity as much as they possibly can. That’s mostly all of what they talk about - something negative whether it’s murder, sickness, disease, the economy sucking, pick any topic, if it’s negative they’re going to talk about it. But there’s definitely certain things they really propagate and it’s the things that cause division between people. Between friends, neighbors, strangers, family… if they can cause a riff and anger, they love it. They love that shit, because if we’re divided, if we’re not united and on each other’s side even when we don’t agree on certain things, there’s no way the People are going to come together and live prosperously; there’s no way we’re going to come together and tell these motherfuckers who own the Media, the politicians, and our money to fuck off.

Trying to tell me how to live my life and give me restrictions? I’m sorry (actually I’m not sorry), you’re not going to tell me what I can and can’t do in terms of my life. We each have our own autonomy to do whatever we want with our lives, so long as we do no harm. Don’t harm yourself or others, whether physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually. Other than that, do whatever the fuck you want. You have the freedom to do what you want; that’s why we’re here.

We are creative beings with the power, the magic, to create our own realities. To literally create. We are part of the Ultimate Creator who’s first instinct was to create! We have this vast Universe of creation, it’s amazing, and we’re a little snippet of it; but we have that same magical power of creation!

So to have another human being telling you what you can or can’t do when we’re all here on the same journey of creating, observing, living… they can just go ahead and fuck off. Just go.

This was a crazy rant and there were so many other things I wanted to say, but the gist of it is, you are a powerful human being no matter what your skin color is, where you’re from, who you are; it doesn’t matter. You are a beautiful, creative human being with magical powers to create the reality you want to live in while you’re here. It is all in the power of your mind, and your heart, and your spirit.

Just do no harm.

Easy, right?

Unless you grew up in an environment where they were doing harm, then it gets a little tough not doing harm; but that’s why people set examples.

Live the way you want to live. Unless you’re harming others or yourself, then you need to stop.

Please don’t do that.
